Michael teaches plein air (outdoor) workshops every summer and fall on Campobello Island. Both oil and pastel artists are welcome. He specialises in small workshops of typically no more than 4 students.

Although the workshop is for any level of student, from beginner to advanced, we suggest that you be comfortable with your medium of choice. If you have not painted before, we suggest you take an introductory indoor workshop first.

As a special treat, Michael invites one "Master Painter" each summer to teach a weeklong, full-day plein air workshop. These world-class painters include artists such as Doug Dawson (2012).
